The City of George will implement annual adjustments to water and sewer utility rates effective July 1, 2026, as previously authorized by Resolution 2022‑321. The Resolution established annual increases of 7.5% for water rates and 6.5% for sewer rates each year from 2023 through 2026.
These adjustments support ongoing operation, maintenance, and long‑term sustainability of the City’s water and sewer systems.
Updated rates will be reflected on customer utility bills issued after July 1, 2026. A complete schedule of current rates is available at City Hall and on the City’s website.

The City Council of the City of George will hold a public hearing to receive comments on the proposed 2026–2031 and 2027–2032 Six‑Year Transportation Improvement Programs (STIP).
